Your bus will climb 2,300 meters (7,546 ft) above sea level on the Subaru Line to the 5th Station for breathtaking views from above the clouds. Even though the peak is another 1,000 meters above, temperatures here are 10~15 C lower than Tokyo, a true breath of brisk air.

Oshino Hakkai
Snow melt that has sunk into the ground over long years sees daylight again here in the form of pristine fresh water springs. Consisting of 8 springs in total, the area features traditional thatched-roof buildings and a view of Mt. Fuji from the countryside.

Shiraito Falls
This picturesque 20 m tall, 200 m wide waterfall is fed by snows that melt and flow down from Mt. Fuji. Here, visitors can walk on the pathway right up to the waterfall basin. In autumn, the colorful leaves that surround the waterfall are a sight not to be missed.

Fujisan Hongu Sengen Taisha Shrine
Visit the head shrine of all Sengen and Asama shrines throughout Japan. This unique shrine deifies Mt. Fuji itself, and its okumiya (inner shrine) is located at the very peak of the mountain. In spring, views of cherry blossoms with Mt. Fuji in the background can be admired from the shrine.

Activity Detail

Restrictions

  • Infants ages 0 to 5 can participate for free but they will not be provided individual seats. They are welcome use seats should they be available, but will be required to sit on their guardian's lap otherwise. Meals will also not be provided. Guests who wish to avail of individual seats and/or meals for infants ages 0-5 must book them as "Child (6-11)."

Additional Notes

  • The tour will not be cancelled or refunded even if Mt. Fuji is not fully visible due to weather conditions.
  • Should the road to Mount Fuji's 5th Station be closed due to snow or other reasons, the tour will go to the highest elevation point possible. Should the tour be advised to go back upon reaching the 1st Station, or in cases where the Fuji Subaru Line is completely blocked, the tour will visit Fujisan World Heritage Center or Lake Kawaguchi Oishi Park instead. Please note that alternative itineraries may also be omitted depending on road conditions.
  • The itinerary may change should the weather or road conditions call for it. Delays in return time may also occur as a result. Refunds will not be issued in such cases.
  • For tours in November, December, February, and March, the visit to Fujisan Hongu Sengen Taisha Shrine may be changed to Kitaguchi Hongu Fuji Sengen Shrine due to early sunset times. Refunds will not be issued in this case.
  • The order of activities and arrival times may differ depending on road conditions and congestion at destinations. In such cases, the amount of time spent at each location may be shortened. However, this will not be accepted as a reason for booking charge refunds.

Dressing & Items to Bring

  • Mt. Fuji's 5th Station is typically 10 to 15 degrees Celsius colder than Tokyo. For tours in autumn and winter, please bring a coat or other warm clothing.
